I don’t remember having alot of crushes as a teenager. I was more of a reader than a movie or music fan. But I do remember one crush. For a long time my favorite show was MacGyver, and I liked Richard Dean Anderson so much that I wrote him letter and he sent me back an autographed postcard (which I can’t seem to find now). Who wouldn’t like a cutie that was smart enough to solve problems and get people out of dangerous situations without reverting to the use of guns. He used his head instead of intimidation. And yet he never came off as cocky and he was never a playboy. Obviously I was crushing on the character not the actor but… he set the standard by which I judged other guys for a long time.

I was never a MacGyver girl, but it always seemed like I was the only one. Everybody loved him. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
Fab! I remember MacGyver too. It’s amazing who pushed our buttons as that vulnerable age!!!
