Wordless Wednesday – Aviator Boy

Aviator Boy

I love this picture.  I don’t know who this boy is but there were several pictures of him in my Grandma Gotcher’s box of pictures and he likes to wear the aviator hat and goggles.

  1. Didn’t your Grandpa Leo like to fly? Could this boy be him by any chance? Great photo!

  2. Marshall Tracy says:

If it is my dad (Norman) would haul the plane on his truck. Don’t
know the whole story!! just say pictures.

  3. That picture just has to make you smile!

  4. Rosanna Ward says:

Marshall do you think it was your dad? And Theresa, yes it does. Renee, the age and background aren’t right to be grandpa Leo.

  5. Rosanna Ward says:

Whoever it is, I think he was a student of grandma’s because several of the photos of him in this gear are in the schoolyard, I think.

  6. Jim Sanders says:

What a great photo. Certainly looks like a pilot. Does that dog appear in any of your other photos you have? Did your dad have a dog or talk about a particular dog when he was growing up? That may be a clue as to who is pictured in the photo.

    Regards, Jim
